The world is increasingly more digital. We use mobile phones, tablets and computers for nearly all of our banking and financial activity. This ease of use is also available to hackers with typically only PINs and passwords preventing their unauthorized access into our accounts. Fortunately, technical security has significantly improved in the past few years. Now the vast majority of the time hackers need our help breaking into our accounts. They attempt this through Social Engineering—conning us, especially with phone calls. We are the weakest link in our security chain. In the first SPA episode we talk about their methods and how we can stop from being scammed.
