Descripción
Hey there everyone, it's time for your 3-Day Forecast brought to you by the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Space Weather Prediction Center. Let's dive into what the weather cosmos...
mostra másStarting off with some geomagnetic activity observations and forecasts - we've seen a Kp of 3 in the past 24 hours, but don't worry, no G1 or greater geomagnetic storms are on the horizon. Expect some mild Kp levels ranging from 1.67 to 2.67 over the next three days.
Now, onto solar radiation - we've had levels below storm thresholds, but there's a slight chance of S1 solar radiation storms, so keep an eye out for that, particularly on the 26th.
And for all you radio enthusiasts out there, radio blackouts at R2 levels were observed recently, with possible R1-R2 disturbances anticipated in the coming days. So be prepared for some minor to moderate radio blackout potential.
To sum it up, it looks like we're in for a relatively calm few days with no major storms expected. But as always, it's good to stay informed. For a more detailed outlook, check out the link in our show notes.
