On July 2nd, 2020, hikers in the Sierra National Forest stumbled upon the disheveled camp site of Sandra Lyn Johnsen Hughes. Locating her vehicle and reported sightings of her offered few clues and only deepened the mystery of what happened to Sandy. 

At the time of her disappearance, Sandra was 54 years old, 5’3” and about 150 lbs. If you have any information on her whereabouts contact Madera County Sheriff at 559-675-7770.
