Why is everyone staring at you? Well, there are several reasons why people stare at you. This is a relatively common phenomenon that we all experience at one time or another. And social psychology can help us better understand why people stare in general. Now, unless you’re a social butterfly, you may not enjoy being the center of attention. Especially if you have social anxiety. Nevertheless, social situations are part of life, and there will be times when people can’t keep their eyes off of you for one reason or another. Staring is usually harmless and even flattering. But it can also feel a little intimidating at times. So context and body language are important factors to consider when you find yourself being stared at.
