Sledd is a five piece, hard hitting, Heavy-Alternative, Album Orientated Rock Musical Group from San Diego, CA. The Band writes all of their own material and was founded in March 1995 by Lead Vocalist/Frontman Cary Rothman, Keyboardist/Vocalist Peter DeLuke Jr and Brother/Drummer Dino DeLuke. Sledd also features Lead Guitarist/Vocalist Keith Greenwood and Bassist/Vocalist Ronnie Hough. In October 2002, Sledd embarked on a U.S. West Coast Regional Tour with Co-national Headliners "The Bullet Boys and former Guns & Roses Guitarist "Gilby Clarke". Appearing as a Support Act, The fifteen night tour saw Sledd play and blow the lid off of ten different Cities. In April 2009 Sledd traveled up to Sacramento, CA. To " J " Street Studios .This plush Sacramento based Recording Studio is owned and operated by Tesla Bass Player Brian Wheat. The week long recording session resulted in an unreleased four song EP, October/November United States Tour with Tesla and an October 2009 release of Sledd's Third Album "Insane Laughter". Four of Producer Brian Wheat's Song Arrangements later appeared on the "Insane Laughter" CD. This Album also received National Airplay in several United States Cities. While touring the album, the Band had major success and performed in twenty different U.S.Cities. Sledd and Tesla drove a combined total of 14,500 Miles on the thirty five night National Tour. Sledd has also played or toured with such legendary HardRock Musical Groups as: Blue Oyster Cult, The Bullet Boys, Dokken, Filter, Great White, Jackyl, Kings X , LA Guns, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Ratt, Skid Row, UFO, Vince Neil and Y&T. Sledd's Second Album "Crooked Smiles"(Unreleased) was produced by Great White Guitarist Mark Kendall.
