Suzy speaks to Lorraine Woolley, James Taubman and Sarah Lalieu from the NeuroMuscular Centre in Cheshire, which is a hub for people and families affected by a neuromuscular condition. We cover how the Centre has been able to maintain it's strong sense of community throughout lockdown, and how the team continues to support people of all ages - from the Transition team's work with young people completing their Duke of Edinburgh Award or undertaking employment skills workshops, to the Centre's work reducing social isolation for older people. We also discuss the power of sport to support positive mental health, as James talks about how and why he co-founded the NMC Titans power-chair football team.
