mostra másStruggling with over obsessive thoughts and staying stuck in your head is extremely common. One study found that 73% of adults between the ages of 25-35 and 52% of adults aged 45-55 years old are overthinkers.
But, just because it’s so common doesn’t mean it isn’t harmful. Many overthinkers think they’re doing something helpful by going through their thoughts.
It may help them feel they are going through a decision-making process or going over all the options, but the reality is that there are ZERO benefits to overthinking. In fact, it can lead to an increase in relationship anxiety.
