In the second episode of 'Breath of Art' I am joined by Jessica, one of the founders of the 2Bornot2B Collective. Tune in as we discuss some very important topics regarding the art community and diversity within it.
2Bornot2B Collective is a social enterprise, which organizes in person and online life drawing classes aimed at uplifting underrepresented communities and bodies in art. The Collective, which gathers models and members from minority, POC, indigenous and many more marginalized communities, aims at creating a space for everybody to find themselves represented in art and to meet likeminded, supportive individuals.
Throughout the episode we mention topics ranging from the arts being often a privilege for certain socio-economic groups and what that looks like in the UK, to the impact of social media on 2Bornot2B and the silver linings that the global pandemic brought to the community of the Collective.
