Jesus is the better high priest who lives to intercede for his people. In our attempts to justify ourselves by seeking to defend our innocence, we can forget that there is one who offers a perfect plea for guilty sinners before God. Jesus speaks a better word on behalf of sinners to the Father, so accept the ministry of the Son.
