Amina and Joseph met when they were both 15 years old at Taekwondo class. Joseph says it was love at first sight, but Amina's strict father stood in the way of their love. Yaser Said's beliefs forbade his daughters from dating, as they were both to be married off in Egypt as soon as they graduated from high school. This is not the future Amina and Sarah wanted for themselves, but they had no say. No matter how hard they tried to escape their father, he would make sure that they would never disobey.
