In this practice which is based on a form of yoga nidra, (also known as yogic sleep) you are guided to allow your body to completely relax while your mind remains alert and awake. The benefit of this practice is your brain waves slow down and you move through various levels of relaxation (alpha, beta, theta and delta brain frequencies). Tapping into these various levels of relaxation you awake to find yourself renewed and restored.
