Domi has set out to make a change by telling her own story. She has overcome an immense amount of hardship and adversity and she is aspiring to make a difference. She watched as her parents battled addiction, prostitution and incarceration. She spent time in foster care, was left to take care of her little brother and unfortunately lost her father at a young age.
Domi remembers being asked “what do you want to be when you grow up?” and the answer was always the same - she just wanted to help people. She didn’t know how or what that exactly looked like, but she knew if she could change even just one persons life by telling her own story, then she would feel fulfilled. She’s finally saying “yes” and sharing her story in the hopes to connect with people and teach them that the life they were given, no matter what that looks like, doesn’t need to be the life that they live. This is just the beginning!
