The Boston City Council passed a $4.2 billion operating budget that includes a nearly $31 million reduction in Boston Police Department funds. Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association President Larry Calderone expressed his disappointment by stating, “Sadly, we continue to see Councilors proudly displaying their anti-police bias while exploiting the budget process to hurt the very same families and neighborhoods they claim to represent.” Calderone joined Dan for a discussion.
