We all keep hearing how bad sugar is for us, but what about artificial sweeteners? No calories are surely a good thing, right? In this episode I sit down to...
mostra másIn this episode I sit down to talk to nutritional therapist Amie Lunt to try to find out more about artificial sweeteners and why she as a clinician and a mother is doing everything she can to avoid them, both for herself and her children.
Amie is a qualified Nutritional Therapist, Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and an advocate for infant health and nutrition. She volunteers for a local breastfeeding charity supporting new mums with their breastfeeding journeys and is extremely passionate about infant feeding and childhood nourishment. Above all, she is a mummy to five-year old Isla and 20-month old Lola and is simply trying to navigate the roller-coaster journey that motherhood is.
She is most widely known for her work as The Mummy Nutritionist, helping families with starting solids and sharing information on how to increase the nutrient density of our little ones’ diets.
You will find her on Instagram @amie.nutrition where she shares all of her knowledge and experience of breastfeeding, introducing foods and infant nutrition, as well as advice for the health of mums and mums-to-be, or at her website amienutrition.co.uk where you will find more about herself, her journey and details of how to contact her.
