In this episode I talk with Mark Sissons who just completed Ironman New Zealand. Mark is on Big Sexy Racing and is coached by John Ellis. Mark talks highly about the support the volunteers give and even how some of the local schools get involved. He talks greatly of the course, the training, and how the finish line there has something special for everyone. His highlights are the volunteers of entire race. The details he gives about the professional athletes down in New Zealand makes it seem like just another athlete that just competes faster. Mark also talks about the Ruby’s Lube, which is a type of chamois cream he uses and then talks about the upgrades from the road bike with aerobars back in the day to what he has now.
