Amanda Sobhy is the American number 1 and a top 10 player in the World, reaching a career high of World no. 6 before a torn Achilles in 2017 took her out of action for the best part of a year. She's now back in the top 10 at no. 8.

Thierry Lincou, is Amanda's coach based out of the famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. The Frenchman was a former World Champion and became the 1st continental European to become World no. 1 in 2003.
