Deon was a friend from middle school and high school. We’ve stayed in contact over the years and he even came to visit me back in 2012 while he was on a journey around Europe and he stayed in my house. He is an avid Dj and he’s played at places like Burning man and the Kremlin. Lately I’ve been following his current hobby on social media which is gardening and beekeeping. We talked about that and some of his wild adventures in this interview.
