This is a VERY SPECIAL episode to the guys in the Lounge along with a couple of other fellow OddPodders, Russ from Infectious Groove Podcast, and Richie from Super Media Bros Podcast!

Russ and Richie joined the conversation about the late, great Betty White! As you know, she passed away on December 31, 2021, and people mourned as they rang in the new year.
Feelings turned to where people started to laugh as video clips were shared to show the brilliance of Betty, as an actress.
Then, the deeper things were shared. It was well known that Betty was an animal lover, but some of the things you learned about her and seeing the pure joy she showed in helping, visiting, and loving on those animals... what a person!

The show starts out with everyone talking about Betty, and then the conversation strays from JUST Betty to a conversation that was VERY LOOSELY linked to her! If you follow closely, she's there! Such a fun way to start a show tributing someone who was so quick-witted and funny!

Why did they love her? What was their favorite role she played? What was their most memorable "cameo?" Richie's is a GEM!
It's a conversation that reminisces about times when watching live TV was a thing and having memories linked to and around a show that was on once, and if you weren't recording it on the VCR, you weren't going to see it! It ventures to the world of commercials, and a time Betty makes a grown man want to cry!

Little Matt runs into some internet issues, near the end, but he still comes through. Each of the gentlemen takes a turn in talking about what Betty meant to them, what she did, and how great she was and still is, today!

The show is a tribute, but it doesn't seem like it was enough to express the way we felt about this person! We were VERY lucky, in the words of Russ, and we, at the Lounge, truly think that is a FACT!
