Week 7: Day 5
ACCESSING OUR GIFTS

Have you heard the scripture Matthew 11:12 that says:
And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

I have heard it a lot so today, I am going to be taking you through the journey of force.

When we speak force in the kingdom, it is from a place of positioning not a place of physical fist exchange.

The journey of our force is the journey of consistency, so we take it by force indicates, we access our gifts regardless.

Regardless of what?

Regardless of what the world brings to the table because He that is in you isn't just greater than he that is in the world, He has also conquered the world.

John 16:33
I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world."

So How do we access our gifts?

Luke 8:4-15
He addressed them, using this story: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. Some of it fell on the road; it was tramped down and the birds ate it. Other seed fell in the gravel; it sprouted, but withered because it didn't have good roots. Other seed fell in the weeds; the weeds grew with it and strangled it. Other seed fell in rich earth and produced a bumper crop.
"Are you listening to this? Really listening?"

His disciples asked, "Why did you tell this story?"
He said, "You've been given insight into God's kingdom—you know how it works. There are others who need stories.

"This story is about some of those people. The seed is the Word of God. The seeds on the road are those who hear the Word, but no sooner do they hear it than the Devil snatches it from them so they won't believe and be saved.
"The seeds in the gravel are those who hear with enthusiasm, but the enthusiasm doesn't go very deep. It's only another fad, and the moment there's trouble it's gone.
"And the seed that fell in the weeds—well, these are the ones who hear, but then the seed is crowded out and nothing comes of it as they go about their lives worrying about tomorrow, making money, and having fun.
"But the seed in the good earth—these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there's a harvest.

The way to access His gifts and enjoy its harvest is simply to align yourself to His Word and hold on to it no matter what - violently hence, regardless.

But how can you hold on to what you do not know you have? How can you fight for what you do not know is yours?

In accessing your gifts from Him, knowledge is key so go for His Word - sit at His fountain partaking of His drink. Ask questions of Him if you are unclear, just make sure you receive from Him what He has offered you.

I pray to God to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask Him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God in Jesus name, Amen.
