Chicago-born DeRay Davis began his career in comedy clubs before segueing into acting. He’s known for his role as 'Ray-Ray the Hustle Guy’ in the Barbershopfilm franchise. His other credits include Semi-Pro, 21 Jump Street, Reno 911, FOX’s Empire, and HBO’s Entourage. Davis lends his voice to several skits on rapper Kanye West albums. This is Davis’ second season hosting Hip Hop Squares, which is produced by his Barbershop co-star, Ice Cube. A lively modern take on the classic Hollywood game show where celebrity contestants come to play and stay for the slay, matching wits and test heir pop-culture knowledge with the superstar squares.
