1 Juan 1:1‭-‬10 RVA2015:
Lo que era desde el principio, lo que hemos oído, lo que hemos visto con nuestros ojos, lo que contemplamos y palparon nuestras manos tocante a la Palabra de vida —la vida fue manifestada, y la hemos visto; y les testificamos y anunciamos la vida eterna que estaba con el Padre y nos fue manifestada—, lo que hemos visto y oído lo anunciamos también a ustedes, para que ustedes también tengan comunión con nosotros. Y nuestra comunión es con el Padre y con su Hijo Jesucristo. Estas cosas escribimos nosotros para que nuestro gozo sea completo. Y este es el mensaje que hemos oído de parte de él y les anunciamos: Dios es luz, y en él no hay ningunas tinieblas. Si decimos que tenemos comunión con él y andamos en tinieblas, mentimos y no practicamos la verdad. Pero si andamos en luz, como él está en luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros y la sangre de su Hijo Jesús nos limpia de todo pecado. Si decimos que no tenemos pecado, nos engañamos a nosotros mismos y la verdad no está en nosotros. Si confesamos nuestros pecados, él es fiel y justo para perdonar nuestros pecados y limpiarnos de toda maldad. Pero si decimos que no hemos pecado, lo hacemos a él mentiroso y su palabra no está en nosotros.


Esta es la primera carta del apóstol Juan, más conocido como el discípulo amado de Jesucristo. Él es el mismo que estaba a los pies del Señor en la cruz, y tuvo un acercamiento especial con el Señor. Mientras los discípulos estaban confundidos en la cena del Señor, él se recostaba en el pecho del Señor.
Mientras todos los discípulos estaban atemorizados cuando Jesús fue llevado al pretorio y crucificado, Juan estaba allí al pie de la cruz junto con María y las demás mujeres. Fue tanta la amistad y fidelidad de Juan al Señor Jesús, ya que en sus últimos minutos de vida el Señor le confió a Juan a María para que la cuidara. Juan fue uno de los primeros testigos de la resurrección de Jesuscristo y testigo ocular de la tumba vacía.

La carta del apóstol Juan es una carta que no tiene referencia para una persona en particular o una iglesia, más bien fue escrito en forma de sermón, posiblemente para que fuera distribuida en la mayoría de las iglesias sin tener ningún destinatario en específico, para que todos los cristianos fueran beneficiados por estas enseñanzas.

En este capítulo podemos notar una declaración tajante sobre la necesidad de no vivir vidas dobles. Si decimos que vivimos en luz y que hemos sido transformados por el poder de Dios, entonces debemos demostrarlo con acciones claras de bondad, respeto y amor a nuestro prójimo.
Cuando decimos que somos hijos de Dios, entonces debemos tener comunión los unos con los otros. Este es un principio importante, porque así nos damos cuenta de la realidad del estado espiritual de alguien o de nosotros mismos.
Así que, seamos ejemplos en nuestros hogares de cómo tratamos o hablamos de nuestro hermano en la iglesia o de las personas que nos rodean. Que nuestros hijos aprendan desde pequeños a cómo hablar con respecto a los líderes de la iglesia, de cualquier hermano en general, del prójimo para que se cumpla la Palabra de Dios que dice que si tenemos comunión los unos a los otros, esto significa que estamos en la luz y que la sangre de Jesucristo nos ha limpiado de todo pecado.

Consideremos:
La vida espiritual que mostramos, ¿realmente refleja lo que hay en nuestro corazón?
¿Será posible practicar la vida cristiana y menospreciar a mi hermano a la misma vez?

August 18: Are we really what we pretend to be?

1 John 1:1-10:
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.


This is the first letter of the apostle John, better known as the beloved disciple of Jesus Christ. He is the same one who stood at the Lord's feet on the cross, and had a special closeness with the Lord. While the disciples were confused at the Lord's Supper, he leaned on the Lord's chest.
While all the disciples were terrified when Jesus was taken to the Praetorium and crucified, John was there at the foot of the cross along with Mary and the other women. John's friendship and fidelity to the Lord Jesus was so great, since in his last minutes of life the Lord entrusted John to Mary to take care of her. John was one of the first witnesses to the resurrection of Jesús Christ and an eyewitness to the empty tomb.

The letter of the apostle John is a letter that has no reference to a particular person or a church, rather it was written in the form of a sermon, possibly to be distributed in most churches without having any specific addressee, so that all Christians were benefited by these teachings.

In this chapter we can note a blunt statement about the need not to live double lives. If we say that we live in light and that we have been transformed by the power of God, then we must demonstrate it with clear actions of kindness, respect and love for our neighbor.
When we say that we are children of God, then we must have fellowship with one another. This is an important principle, because in this way we become aware of the reality of the spiritual state of someone or of ourselves.
So let's be an example in our homes of how we treat or talk about our brother or sister in church or the people around us. That our children learn from a young age how to speak with respect to the leaders of the church, of any brother and sister in general, of the neighbor so that the Word of God is fulfilled that says that if we have communion with one another, this means that we are in the light and that the blood of Jesús Christ has cleansed us from all sin.

Let us consider:
Does the spiritual life that we display really reflect what is in our hearts?
Is it possible to practice the Christian life and despise my brother or sister at the same time?
