Had the pleasure of welcoming in studio this week Dane Peterson. He's a member of the Law Enforcement community here in Utah and here's a list of just some of his accomplishments.

In April 2012 he finished top of the class in Salt Lake City PD's SWAT school.

In 2012 he was the fastest officer promoted to SWAT Sergeant with only 3 1/2 years experience.

In January 2014 he was fastest to be promoted to Lieutenant at 5 years. He was Lieutenant for the Peace Officers Standards and Training, pre-service correctional academy.

In 2016 He finished top of the class in the Department of Public Safety' Basic Tactical Operations Course (BTOC), another SWAT school.

From 2016-2019 He participated in over 1000 warrant services for violent fugitives in the state of Utah.

Not only that, he's one of the few individuals I've ever met that will. not. quit. He's a rare breed in that he invites pain and thrives in the requirement to finish the objective.

In this episode of Stand Up! we discuss some key experiences that lead him to where he is today, including a challenging childhood that paved the way to his understanding that "no one hits harder than my dad." We talk mindset, commitment and the softness that has creeped into American culture and his commitment to eradicate it.
