Yesterday morning, a slow moving, incredibly small turtle inched his way through the rows of wild roses surrounding the sacred circle. I stopped to touch him and to share a softly whispered conversation. I thanked him for showing me his way. From within the circle, I childishly peered through the sharp green leaves—his neck was stretched, his legs frozen stiff—how do you like that? He was now studying me!
