In her master’s thesis, She looked specifically at the relationship between people with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregiving spouses. She conducted in-depth interviews with 18 Alzheimer’s caregivers and found several ways that communication helps them address the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and maintain a sense of closeness in their relationships.”
