In the fourth season of WE tv’s popular series Growing Up Hip Hop, the next generation of hip hop royalty sets out to do whatever it takes to rise above their legendary parents’ shadow. Season four picks up on the lives of Angela, Vanessa and JoJo Simmons, the offspring of rap pioneer Rev Run. After settling into motherhood, Angela opens up for the first time about a devastating breakup and facing public scrutiny. Vanessa, meanwhile, yearns to be closer to her sister, Angela, but new business opportunities lead to a dramatic sibling rivalry.

Twelve years after we first met Angela, Vanessa and JoJo on MTV’s hit series Run’s House, the Simmons kids are all grown up and can discuss their lives, their projects and their experiences with the rest of the Growing Up Hip Hop castmates.

Angela Simmons is a hip hop socialite, model and fashion designer of her own line, Foofi. Angela is a social media powerhouse who’s hoping to translate her fashion success into dollars away from the comfort of her father’s fortunes. Vanessa Simmons is a fashionista in her own right, and with her fashion business blowing up, she’s ready to take her career to new heights, but not without Angela.
