A brand new year, a brand new topic! Recurring guest Zach Story is back with his takes on one of the best television shows ever produced: Avatar: The Last Airbender (this is not hyperbole; this is a fact). We begin with the first season that started it all - Book 1: Water!

Debuting in 2005, this show is the brainchild of creators Mark Dante DiMartino and Brian Koneitzko. It was animated primarily in South Korea and stars popular actors Mae Whitman and Dante Brasco. The show ran for three seasons, produced one spin-off show "The Legend of Korra" and multiple graphic novels, and was adapted in 2010 into a live-action feature length film by M. Night Shyamalan. It is currently being adapted into a live-action television series by Netflix.

Since this is a half-hour show, each podcast episode will cover 4 individual episodes this time around.

Our first episode discusses "The Boy in the Iceberg," "The Avatar Returns," The Southern Air Temple," and "The Warriors of Kyoshi."
