Many people face conflict in the workplace where there is someone, whether management or a coworker, that make your place of employment not so pleasant. Sometimes personalities just don’t mesh. Other times, you have been lied on, trust is betrayed, or we are offended in some manner. What do you do? How do you resolve the conflict so that it doesn’t take a toll on your mental and emotional stress?

The Bible is a great source for how we can handle every day life situations. In Matthew 18:15-16 it tells us to go to that person who has hurt you or offended you and have a conversation. It specifically says go to them in private, which means that you should go to them above going to everyone else first. If that person is unwilling to listen and come to am amicable solution, then you get a mediator to help the two of you resolve your issues.

In the workplace, it may not be that easy. Who in the workplace can you trust to help you resolve the issue? If you do not safe and can trust your management, then go Human Resources.
