In this episode of Becoming with Angelina Watkins, she talks about her journey of becoming unbothered by the things people say and do that hinder you. Being unbothered is something that is so easy to say, but not so easy to master. However, it is something God wants us to be. He doesn’t want us to be down and held back by those who reject us, mistreat us, and speak ill against us.

In Matthew 10:11-14, Jesus gave the disciples instructions that when they go out, if they are not worthy of you and do not receive you, then leave and shake the dust off your feet. First off, we must know that everyone is not going to like us and accept us, that is a given. In knowing that, we have to be able to bounce back from rejection quickly and not let it hinder the assignment God has on our life.
