He ditched a lucrative-ish career to try one that was freelance and tips only. Eventually he learned these daring changes were most likely a bi-product of having a depressive disorder.

One teacher absolutely can change your path and allow new thoughts into your cranium. I think that was one of my favorite parts of Bernard's story.
