mostra másIn this episode, I interview Bill Nickle - founder of Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center in East Tennessee. It is just the kind of place I one day will become a part of. With an interest in being one with the land and building 100% off grid homes of all kinds, they really understand how nature provides everything we need. They also have a natural burial preserve and I learned just how awful cremation is even though I had an idea. Natural burial is a beautiful way to allow your loved ones to gracefully become one with nature (again).

In the episode, Bill sings a song and "the song to which he recited the lyrics is adapted from an old song that references a different place with no mention of persimmons or paw paws. The author of the original song is unknown"
