Black Christian and Proud!
A message for ALL! Be proud of our Christian Heritage. African were among the first to lead the church in Antioch, people like Simeon the black and Lucius from Cyrene, Africa.
The following historical Christians and early church fathers are of African descent; Tertullian born c 155; Origen of Alexandria, born c 185; Cyprian of Carthage, born c 200; Athanasius of Alexandria, born c. 293; Augustine of Hippo, born c 354; Cyril of Alexandria born c. 375; and many others.
Black people have a rich history and our Christianity did not begin when we were enslaved! So we all can be proud of our African culture and its importance in Christianity's Heritage!
Whatever our nationality, ethnic origin, or birthplace, we can all be Christian and proud! Jesus bled for you and for me, all colors, all genders, all nationalities, and all ages. His blood covers ALL of us! So let’s use our diversity to carry out the will of our common Father who art in Heaven!
