When Joey Hauss left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant, he still had more self-discovering to do, that is when he found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is now a Black Belt under Jean Jacques Machado. He accidentally discovered the Wim Hof method while trying to optimize his body for competition and day-to-day life. He found that the breathwork techniques and cold water immersion had a way of focusing his mind and calming his nerves. Essentially it changed his life.
