The CJNG, or Jalisco New Generation Cartel, is highly active in Michoacán, Mexico, engaging in a range of criminal activities. This includes drug trafficking, extortion, kidnapping, and acts of violence aimed at asserting control over territory and intimidating rivals.


In Michoacán, the CJNG often clashes with other criminal groups, particularly those affiliated with the Familia Michoacana and the Knights Templar Cartel. These conflicts result in high levels of violence and instability in the region, impacting both local communities and law enforcement efforts.

The drug war in Mexico has continued to produce untold amounts of pain and suffering and one of the main factors in this current wave of violence has been the actions and behaviors of the most violent cartel in Mexico, The CJNG.
