I wanted to call this podcast episode so many different things. The Monster That Ate Up Todd Riley's Stage to Todd Riley Rebuilding Todd Riley. In the four years I've been talking with Todd the comedian has always been the most down to earth conversation. It's always been about the art of taking words and creating an emotion inside the heart of someone you just met and you'll probably never see them again. I mean isn't that what the live comic stage is? I'm going to let you abuse me for your enjoyment. I won't break. I've got another show in thirty minutes. Then along comes this invisible monster that somehow someway got past our Godzilla radar and it silenced a ton of creative people. Todd isn't going to loaf around on this one. He's put too much time and energy into the crafting of his words and delivery. It's one of those moments that we had to document because one day we won't remember but at least we recorded it.
