Mental Health Awareness is more than just acknowledging it for one month, once a year. The advocacy of mental health awareness and mental illness prevention is 24/7/365. Mental health advocates are foot soldiers for mental health awareness. Our guest today is the Past Executive Director and Board Member of Mental Health America - Louisiana Affiliate. He founded the Louisana Mental Health Awareness Project, which was created to educate, support and most importantly advocate mental health, substance abuse, and suicide prevention awareness in the State of Louisiana.
