mostra másHello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Fred Smith, and it is: A key element of maturity is a quiet center…an undisputable spot in the heart where all is well.
All Is Well
Are you at peace with yourself? When the storms of life rage, do you come undone? When someone treats you unkindly or maligns you, do you respond in kind? One of the proofs that you are a mature person is when you can remain calm within the storms of life, which buffet us daily. Maintaining that quiet center of emotions indicates that all is well within, even when they are not without. As Christ-followers, we have the extra benefit of God’s Holy Spirit that dwells within us, granting us divine power to be at peace, even if the world is in chaos. Having this peace assures our hearts that all is truly well. We can be a powerful testimony and example to those who are struggling or in turmoil, which will allow us to share with others where our peace comes from, which is God in us. If you are not quite to the place where you can have a quiet center, quiet confidence, then I would encourage you to invest more time in God’s Word and in prayer to grow in maturity.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
