Look...it infuriates me that the standards are all over the place. Makes me want to throw up my hands. If someone is going to claim we NEED the mother...I need them to get specific.

So if the church is my mother and I’m part of the church body (local or universal) then I’m part of my mother? Or is it saying I have to be part of the church to maintain that relationship with my mother? Sorry I’m a bit confused lol
