We end Indian Cinema August with a look at one of the most popular, longest-running films in Indian cinema history: Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as two star-crossed lovers who meet, fall in love, and then they are separated due to their different familial backgrounds. SRK then must find a way to not only win back Kajol but also win over her extremely conservative family. It's everything you've ever heard a Bollywood film is and more. Director Maggie the Odd and Scary Stories We Tell's Jess Byard joins Chris to talk about the film, it's amazing musical numbers, and why American audiences should watch it.
