On September 21 of 2022, after 7 months of bloody invasion of Russia in Ukraine, Putin has openly declared the full-scale war and announced a full-scale military mobilization.
This immediately led to the new wave of protests, street guerilla actions - setting on fire more and more recruitment offices, women’s uprisings.
It also brought up a very unusual wave of migration of men who consciously decided not to take part in the war. These days there’s a massive stream of war-migrants never seen in history – a somewhat reversed flux from “prosperous” Russia to the poor former-soviet south.
This chapter of MIXFEELINGS is compiled by Arkadiy Kots – an antifascist folk-punk band formerly based in Moscow. Their series of mixtapes is dedicated to the antiwar culture in Soviet and post-Soviet time\spaces.
