Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021-2022 season is now in the books as the Eagles beat the Washington Football Team by a score of 20-16 down in Landover, MD. The Eagles are now 9-7 on the season, and look to a potential playoff berth. This week, Jeff was joined by Gino Cammilleri (@GC24_Football) from the Locked On Eagles podcast.
Like last week, this game was a tale of two halves as the offense and defense couldn't produce much in the first half. However, the adjustments made in-game and stellar situational football from both the offense and defense in the second half helped give this team a needed victory as they look toward the playoffs. While having not thrown a touchdown in this game, Jalen Hurts had himself a very nice game, putting this offense in a good position especially in the red zone in the second half.
The Eagles defense was giving up big-time yards in the first half, but made huge plays in the second half thanks to Josh Sweat and Avonte Maddox. The game was sealed with an interception by Rodney McLeod.
