Let’s be honest, we’re all addicted to something. Addictions are fun, they offer a thrill, a feel-good pill, just like heroine (disclaimer, we haven’t tried heroine). The scare is not what we are addicted to, but the high we get from being addicted to it. And the Ego is one of the biggest things we’re addicted to. With the highs comes praise, validation, a sense of importance. We’re always talking about the highs, but no one ever wants to talk about the lows of ego addiction. The depression, feeling like you’re not enough, like you don’t measure up to others. And it sucks to feel this way, but the beautiful thing about life and balance is that we have a chance to put our addictions in their proper places and enjoy our lives. So, grab a friend, join in as we talk about, how we can let go of Ego Addiction and enjoy this life we live.
