On August 16th, 2023 in Florida. An officer responded to a 9-11 call in reference to an intoxicated man who had hit a woman’s car and fled the scene. The officers then located the man just behind the building of where the accident took place. Upon approach, the man denied any involvement in the hit and run, even when officers tried showing him where the damage was on his car. At one point the man pulled out his phone and started recording the officers asking for badge numbers. The man was refused to take accountability for his actions and tried playing dumb.
