We speak with Angela about what her organization does, how it relates to the current political climate and the importance of community organizing.
This November, the citizens of Los Angeles will get the opportunity to vote on Charter Amendment B, a measure that, if passed, will create a public bank for the city. Public banks are an issue surrounded by much debate and controversy. Tonight, we speak with Chris Roth from Public Bank LA, an organization in favor of Amendment B. We will find out the ins and outs of public banks and see if it will truly be a benefit for the City of Los Angeles.
