It is a pleasure to welcome actor and talent manager Chi Muoi Lo to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

He caught the acting bug at 10-years-old and eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. Chi left his mark in the entertainment industry with his outstanding performance as Wago Chang in the critically acclaimed and highly rated mini-series: Vanishing Son. He also starred in Faith of My Father, Sucker Free City, and Shannon’s Deal. In 2001, Chi made his debut as an actor, writer, and director in Catfish In Black Bean Sauce. It was met with great success and made Variety’s “Top 50 of 2001 Limited-Release Winner at the Box Office.” He also guest-starred on several popular TV shows, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cold Case, CSI, Malcolm in the Middle, and Smallville.

In addition to his work on-screen, Chi Muoi Lo is also the owner of Black Hawk Entertainment and the CEO of the talent management company: Allen Edelman Management. Several of his clients include Christopher Wolfe (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood, and SWAT), Karen Malina White (Disney+’s The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder and How to Get Away with Murder), and Steven Krueger (CW’s Roswell: New Mexico).

Recently, Chi Muoi Lo has taken his 30 years of experience and transformed it into a seven-episode online subscription series: Mastering the Business of Acting. Among the topics that Chi covers include “how to break into the business,” “how to maintain a successful acting career,” “the art and business of auditioning,” and “the new technological advancements that now all actors are expected to be experienced in.”
