The spectacular gal in this episode is another of Robert Stoll's victims that refused to wear the title of victim. She fought back and counted herself as one of the victors of justice. Fun fact: Stoll's conviction came on Edie's birthday. What a gift in an otherwise terrible story of fraud that befell her and at least 15 other targets in the Florida panhandle.

For those keeping up with our livestreams, you'll know that we talked to Angela Bott, the wife of our convict of interest, and she answered a lot of those questions that our victims wanted to know about. Like, why would he do this, what were his motivations, and how could he get away with it for so long. She also detailed the fateful day that he was arrested, claiming, among other things, that the officers turned off their cameras and lied to her in order to get her to comply and tack on additional charges on Stoll.

These charges, she says, were intended to keep him from getting a bond for release. This one factor had Stoll sitting in jail for nearly two years awaiting trial.
