“The Claustrophobic Cocktail”
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz dark rum
- 0.5 oz blackberry liqueur
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1/4 oz red wine float (for that “blood in the water” effect)
- Optional: tiny pinch of activated charcoal if you have some
- Add rum, blackberry liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and bitters to a shaker with ice.
- Shake until cold and slightly aggressive
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Slowly float the red wine on top (pour over the back of a spoon).
- If using charcoal, stir lightly for a shadowy, cave-black look.
