In the fall of 1718, the infamous pirate Blackbeard was the scourge of the North Carolina coast until he met his demise in a sea battle off the outer banks. But in the months prior, he actually lived in a house on the water's edge in the town of Beaufort where he took a wife, and murdered her. Rumors now surround the 300 year old house where apparitions are commonly encountered. Is it the ghost of Blackbeard, his murdered wife, or something within a 300 year time span haunting the house. And is there buried treasure nearby? Join Brad, Barry, and Katie as they discuss their investigation of the Hammock House, and how they happened to be there at the best possible time to possibly experience the activity.
