The action kicks off in Qatar November 20th which is the smallest country to ever host a World Cup and the first country in the Arab world to host a World Cup. The firsts don’t stop there. Due to extreme heat in Qatar in the summer months, this will be the first World Cup not played in June. This will also be the first World Cup to have women referees!
