It is a pleasure to welcome actor, musician, and podcast host Paul Greene to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, Paul was raised on a farm and learned first-hand the importance of faith, hard work, and family. Scouted from college, he started a modeling career when he was 18 years old and immediately became a huge success, having a booked a national Levi’s commercial within his first week of modeling. He spent most of his 20s, splitting his time modeling in Japan, London, Milan, New York City, and Paris, walking for Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, and hundreds of brands. After his first son was born, Paul Greene’s love for acting moved to Los Angeles, where he continued to book commercials and garnered success as a series regular for Bitten (Philip McAdams), Wicked Wicked Games (Benjamin Gray), and When Calls the Heart (Dr. Carson Shepard). He also guest starred on several TV shows such as Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Harry’s Law, The Client’s List, and The Newsroom. He is also a musician who has released two albums: Freedom for Your Soul and Long Way Home. Two of his original songs, “A Place in My Heart” and “Long Way Home,” made it to the Top 10 on a national country music chart, and another original song: “Plea of An Angel,” made it to the number one spot. Also, during the pandemic of 2020, Paul began to live stream his concerts on social media. When he is not preparing for a show or a film, Paul spends time with his family, hosting a wildly popular podcast, The Grass is Greener, and developing transformational education programs with his partner Katie. On this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Paul Greene talked about working with Gladys Knight on I’m Glad It's Christmas and Amanda Kloots on A Fit Christmas. Paul also spoke about his podcast: The Grass is Greener.
