I think he meant raw food (not cooked) since it may still have blood. What you mentioned is not blood, the red on a rare cooked meat is a protein not blood.

Not sure I’m understanding the “rare” issue regarding blood because the cattle are supposed to be fully drained. I’m kinda familiar with the slaughtering procedure. Blood cells wouldn’t be evaporating on the grill. But slow cooking is also easy to digest and a better choice if you don’t have access to grass fed meats, which is understandable, they are so expensive.
